The perfect set for the writer in all of us: The stones are Chinese Writing Stone, a semi-precious crystal like quartz or amethyst. The mouse is for perspective. The sun and moon is to symbolize the writer’s need for balance. Anansi the Spider is the storyteller of African Tradition. The small female figure with the spiral at her center is the source of our creativity (our stories come from our center.) And, of course, “CREATE”!

Suggested Uses:

1. My writer’s set sits on my altar and reminds me that no matter what else I may do, no matter that I haven’t written in days that I am a writer. I touch it and finger the luscious little stones so very like chocolates (this one caramel, this one raspberry) and I am reminded of the joy I get in choosing words – choosing words like choosing chocolates in a box: always wondering what will come next, always trusting that it will be good.

2. Try a dedication ritual to tie this set to a current, specific project you are working on, or to inspire a journaling practice.
