Return Policy

Product Returns: Your satisfaction with the Story-Beads products is our first priority, so we offer you a 30-day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with our products for any reason, you may return the product for a replacement or full refund of the product purchase price (excluding shipping and taxes) postmarked within thirty days of the date of your original invoice. Please enclose your invoice/receipt with your return, or have the invoice number handy when you call us.

Workshop Cancellations: The cost of workshops booked through the website will be refunded in full up to five business days before the start date of the workshop. Refunds requested five business days or less from the date of the workshop will be given minus 20% of total as an administration fee. Cost will be refunded in the same method as the original payment, with the exception of cash payments which will be refunded by check.

Restringing Policy: Although Story-Beads are designed for regular usage, they can still be delicate. All Story-Beads eventually break, releasing their energy back into the Universe. Sets that experience undue breakage that occurs within the first month will be restrung one time free of charge. (Please see product returns for specifics.) If your beads need restringing at any time after the initial month there is a $12 restringing fee. Simply send us your beads and we will return them to you “all better.”

Whatever the situation, please contact our Customer Care department and talk to us... we'll make sure you're looked after.

Disclaimer

Please note: Story-Beads are intended for regular usage but breakage can occur. Therefore, Story-Beads are not recommended for young children. Also, due to bead availability and natural variations in gemstones, actual sets may vary from those shown on the site. We try to remain as true to the images as possible.

Also, if you see something you like but are interested in a different gemstone or accent piece please contact me and we can work together to create just the piece you’re looking for. (Please note that a $10 fee will be added.)

Double Opt-in Newsletter

Our newsletter script is an automated two-step process (double opt-in) to increase security and to prevent spam. When you subscribe, you will be asked to confirm your subscription. This helps to prevent others from submitting your address to us without your permission.

At any time, should you wish to stop receiving our newsletter, an unsubscribe link is at the bottom of every newsletter email that we send out.

If you receive our newsletter and don't want to remain on the list, please don't get angry - we want to prevent spam as much as you do. Send us an email asking to be removed and we'll be happy to do so quickly, professionally and courteously.

Anti-spam

In this day and age of spam and viruses flying around all over the Net, we'd like to take this opportunity to clear up any misconceptions or misunderstandings in regards to our outgoing email and spam policy. Just as we refuse to give out your personal information, we also do not buy, harvest from others' emails, trade for, or otherwise acquire lists of email addresses for the purpose of sending unsolicited email or spam.

At no time has anyone at the Story-Beads domain intentionally sent out unsolicited or offensive emails to email addresses not on our own contact lists. At times, our email addresses have been 'stolen' so that it looks like messages containing offensive or unsolicited information are coming from our servers, but they are not.
