Special gifts

Karyn’s spiritual circle meets once a month or so. She loved her set so much that she wanted a custom set for each member of the circle. Working from pictures, her personal descriptions and even a song and a poem I intuitively created individual pieces that reflected each woman’s individuality while also expressing just how much love Karyn had for all her circle sisters.

Support

Barbara wanted a set of Story-Beads to take with her to the hospital when she went for major surgery. She left me with her grandmother’s pearl necklace and trusted my intuition. The final piece I came up with had groups of three pearls to be prayed with the Julian of Norwich prayer “All shall be well and all shall be well and all manner of things shall be well.” In between each group of three were beads the seven colors of the rainbow for a sense of balance and a bear totem to safeguard her new health after she left the hospital. Recycled Jewelry

I loved the chime necklace I got as a teenager and the unicorn pin that was an unexpected gift from the artist but neither reflected my current style of dress. So, I “recycled “the pieces in a set of Story-Beads. The chime became a reminder to listen to the sometimes quiet voice of spirit while the unicorn reinforced the affirmation “I prosper in an abundant Universe.” Send me your old jewelry and together we can co-create a set of Story-Beads just for you.

Group Pieces

There were 10 of us meeting once a week to work with Julia Cameron’s book The Artist’s Way. We had grown so close so quickly that I wanted to acknowledge the camaraderie we had, so I designed sets of Story-Beads for us. There were 10 sets that were an exact copy of each other; they gave us a sense of identity as a group and a feeling of being connected together by our experiences of working together.
